DETAILS

Pre-milled Ti-blanks compatible with MIS™

Product Overview

Pre-milled Ti-blanks compatible with MIS™ fit the taper connection and internal hex interface of MIS implant systems. They are prefabricated titanium substrates dedicated to CAD/CAM milling of custom abutments in digital dental laboratories. The implant connection end is precision formed before delivery. Only the superstructure of the blank needs to be milled during processing for fabricating one-piece custom titanium abutments. It fully connects the digital restoration workflow including intraoral scanning, virtual design and CNC milling, suitable for a variety of complex restorative cases.

Product Material

Medical-grade TC4 titanium alloy with dense and uniform internal metallographic structure. It has stable mechanical strength and fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance in oral environment and excellent biocompatibility, and is free from material aging during long-term service.

Main Specifications & Parameters

A variety of blank diameters and milling heights are available, covering MIS narrow platform, standard platform and wide platform options, compatible with mainstream dental CNC milling machines and various CAD design systems.

Scope of Application

Compatible with MIS implant platforms for dental laboratories to fabricate custom abutments via digital milling process. Suitable for single-tooth and multi-unit fixed bridge restorations. It can handle restorative scenarios requiring customized emergence profiles, such as tilted implants and special soft tissue morphology.

Product Advantages

  • Pre-fabricated Integrated Interface Structure: The implant mating zone is pre-finished. No cutting on the interface is required during machining, eliminating interface machining deviation, ensuring tight fit between abutment and implant and lowering the risk of micro-leakage at the restoration interface.

  • Compatible with Mainstream Digital Machining Ecosystem: Works with commonly used dental CAD software and various milling machines on the market with stable data matching. It reduces technicians’ debugging difficulty and effectively shortens the fabrication cycle of restorations.

  • Superior Mechanical Resistance: TC4 titanium alloy substrate has sufficient toughness and outstanding bending & deformation resistance. It can bear continuous occlusal load in posterior regions and guarantee long-term stability of restorations.

  • Multiple Platform Sizes Available: Rich specifications cover different platform types, meeting soft tissue contouring demands for anterior aesthetic zones as well as high occlusal force restoration conditions in posterior areas.

  • High Design Plasticity: Ample milling space reserved to support customized emergence profiles and angled screw channels, flexibly implementing all kinds of personalized restoration designs.

  • Reduced Machining Consumable Loss: Compared with direct milling from solid titanium blocks, it greatly cuts cutting load on tools, extends cutter service life, increases laboratory productivity and controls overall processing costs.
